The formal living room and dining room are separated from the rest of the house by french doors off the entrance foyer and kitchen.
The living room has solid oak commercial grade flooring. Natural lighting comes from eight windows, six of which are in the circular area of the room. There are steps down to the over-height room at the foyer entrance and the dining room entrance. The living room has double doors giving it direct access to the wrap-around veranda.
The dining room is built to accomodate an oversized antique dining room suite and can comfortably handle ten for dinner. It has direct access to the central kitchen through a pocket french door. It has oak grained laminate flooring.
